Scrap Cancer 2009

Ok so it's been 6 months...........it's been hectic, but all has settled down now. I can focus more of my attention on my business and my **gasp** customers!

The website is well on its way - I expect to launch end of this week. I hope everyone loves it. I am happy with it, except of course, the price tag and the timeline...LOL, but that couldn't be helped!

Jackie's Wedding Shower

This weekend I was at my friend Jackie's wedding shower! I hadn't seen Jackie in a couple of months, so it was nice to reconnect! As always, the girls wasted no time in putting together the festive shower hat - hmmmm, I wonder where that tradition came from?

I spent a while putting together the card because Jackie is a cardmaker too! I had to make it super special, so using my Our Craft Lounge stamps (Lola) and my Copic markers I got to work and put together this little card for her! I loved it and so did she!

I used a card from my Bazzill card set - this is a great set as it has 7 different colours of cards and matching envelopes. And for that extra little pop - I used Sakura Glaze pens - awesome!

Marks Paper Company Paper - It's Here!

So for the last few weeks I have been talking about this awesome paper that I found online. I placed an order with Marks Paper Company and I just received the paper today! It's available for purchase online at http://www.craftydesigns.ca. It's a little bit more expensive than the other double sided paper, but I assure you it's well worth it! This is from a BRAND new company so the pricing is a little high, but it's the little guys that come out with the best stuff - we have to support them.

Here are some samples of the paper - just of the front sides! The back is equally awesome! Just a note though - the paper is 12x12 square, the edges aren't pinked, it's just shown that way cause it's supposed to look like a "fabric swatch". Super cool!
